Sonya Meighan

A graduate of Berkeley College, Sonya Meighan began her career at Community Coordinated Child Care of Union County in 1998 as a Work First New Jersey (WFNJ) Counselor. Over the course of more than 27 years, she has dedicated her work to serving families and childcare providers throughout Union County.

She currently serves as the Manager of the Fiscal Department, where she oversees payment processing and provides troubleshooting support for both parents and providers. In addition to her fiscal leadership responsibilities, she also manages the WFNJ Department, working closely with the Division of Social Services and the American Job Center to ensure coordinated, high-quality services for the community.

Her long-standing commitment, experience, and leadership continue to play a vital role in supporting Union County’s families and childcare professionals.
