Child Care Center Complaint

A complaint against a child care center should be reported directly to the Office of Licensing (OOL) at 1-877-667-9845.   OOL is the licensing and regulatory agency that inspects and licenses child care centers.

Program or Staff Complaint

-If you have a complaint regarding a program or staff person, please call the agency at (973-923-1433) and ask to be connected to the supervisor of the appropriate department or staff person. 

-If you are a  parent and believe that you were unjustly terminated from the New Jersey Cares for Kids child care subsidy program, please submit your complaint in writing to CCCC of Union County (Attn: NJCK Program Manager). You will be provided with information on how to appeal.

Family Child Care Complaint

CCCC of Union County is the state’s sponsoring organization for family child care registration in Union County. Any concerns or complaints about registered family child care providers should call our Family Child Care Coordinator at 973-923-1433 ext. 116.
