CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM UPDATES
Child care can take up a big part of a family’s monthly budget. Income-eligible families who are working, going to school or in job training may be able to get help through the New Jersey Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), which is run by the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Family Development (DFD).
CCAP is handled locally by Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agencies. There is a CCR&R in each county.
Community Coordinated Child Care of Union County is the CCR&R for Union County.
Learn how the program works, who can qualify, how to apply, and what you need to do to keep your child care assistance by visiting www.childcarenj.gov/Parents/CCAP
