Afghan Special Immigrants and Humanitarian Parolees
The purpose of this Instruction is to advise County Welfare Agencies/Municipal Welfare Agencies (CWAs/MWAs) and the Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (CCR&Rs) that, in response to the recent evacuations from Afghanistan, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has created new immigration codes for Afghan citizens or nationals.
