Vision Screenings

Vision Screenings Encouraged

Preschoolers should have their eyes checked before beginning school. Pediatricians and other healthcare providers should screen all children under five for various disorders, including lazy eye, focus problems, nearsightedness and farsightedness. Vision and learning are closely linked, so a child with vision problems may have a more difficult time learning to read.
